It’s usually connected to a building's fire detection and alarm system. In the time of a fire, the curtain is automatically deployed to contain the fire and smoke through motorized systems. In addition to containing fire, many fire curtains also serve as smoke barriers, preventing the spread of toxic gases throughout the building & are available in different sizes and configurations to accommodate unique architectural designs.
